The government will decide by the end of this year whether to introduce a single tax.

The government will decide by the end of this year whether to introduce a single tax that would combine the income tax as well as social and health insurance premiums, PM Beata Szydlo has told the Do Rzeczy weekly.

"The discussion on this solution and its details is still going on. (...) It is not determined yet, but we will certainly communicate a decision on the matter by the end of the year. I am waiting for final conclusions of the Economic Committee and (deputy) PM (Mateusz) Morawiecki," PM Szydlo said in a Do Rzeczy interview published on Monday.

The prime minister added she would not approve changes that would involve additional costs for businesses.
